The Ovaltine Café in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside neighbourhood is back in business after a suspected arson in June. Owner Grace Chen says it's all thanks to thousands of dollars raised by customers and community members to restore the cafe.
The May 28 fire, set in the alley behind the diner, razed the building's rear, scorched its front doors and smoked the kitchen, requiring a number of costly repairs.
