International service provider Sparkle, Telecom Italias (TIM) infrastructure and connectivity business, has announced the expansion of its network footprint to Iraq with the opening of a new point of presence (PoP) in Erbil.

Two recent Nokia deals, in Indonesia and Azerbaijan, emphasise network enhancement and improved customer experience but also, the vendor says, offer the potential for cost savings for operators.

International service provider and global operator Sparkle says it has expanded its reach in Brazil with an additional point of presence (POP) in Fortaleza, the capital of the north-eastern Brazilian state of Ceara.
