Third readings of bylaws to allow the redevelopment of the Stonehurst site didn't pass but members of the public hoping to catch the meeting online were left in the dark as to what was said because of technical issues.
The future of the Stonehurst property and an adjacent town-owned lot is to be voted on by Gibsons Council at its 7 p.m. meeting on May 2. The public can attend the meeting in person at town hall or virtually via Zoom.
'To those who care about community. We really need to think hard about the future look, feel, and practicality of not only Gibsons as a whole, but in part.'
