Brickyard site eyed for $100 million of development in South Chattanooga
After building such suburban neighborhoods as the Farmstead in Hixson, Painted Ridge in Red Bank and other residential projects in Soddy-Daisy and Signal Mountain, Chattanooga real estate developers Jim Lea and Shelton Grizzle have turned their attention to Chattanoogas urban core and are proposing to bring more than 200 new homes and storefronts to an industrial area of Chattanooga in Alton Park.
