The Cardinals lost in four sets at Bret Harte on Thursday night in Angels Camp during the quarterfinals of the Division V CIF Sac-Joaquin Girls Volleyball Playoffs.
With 15 straight Central Valley California League wins to end the year, the Woodland Christian High School girls volleyball team hopes to have begun a postseason win streak following their three set sweep over John Adams Academy in the opening round of the 2023 Division V CIF Sac-Joaquin Girls Volleyball Playoffs.
"She is one of the best captains I've ever had," said sophomore setter Ellie Sumner. "She is always a leader on the court and makes sure we're all in line. She's such a good captain, brings the energy and always makes sure we're positive."
