NEW DELHI: The J&K administration has sacked two sons of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, who were employed in different departments, under Article 311 for alleged involvement in terror funding cases.
The two are among the 19 J&K government staffers terminated as part of a review undertaken over the past one and a half months of cases under Article 311(2)(c), with a view to rid the UT administration of elements either working clandestinely for or furthering the activities of terrorist outfits, according to officials.
While eight persons, mostly associated with the J&K education department, were sacked earlier, services of 11 government employees have now been terminated “in the interest of the nation”, a source said.
