to the culture war? yeah. they re kind of sad and i think that they find themselves really unmoored by the idea of sharing a political coalition with people like marjorie taylor greene or matt gaetz. that s not who they want to be associated with. they hope that a john kasich or palm ryan will save them but that s not who the base of the republican party wants anymore. they re different from the base voters. they re all vaccinated. they think that what happened on january 6 is terrible. they think the election was free and fair and not how people who voted for trump in 2020 talk. they think the election was stolen and suspicious of the vaccine and not a comfortable political coalition but is the democratic party putting up candidates to pick the people up? they still are sort of, yeah,
assertions that would poison the well of public sentiment, that would hurt bob mueller s investigation, and how the fbi is perceived. we actually thought, well, why don t you at least let us put out a counterer memo putting this into focus. our memo is ten pages with footnotes, goes into great detail about who occurred, and the republicans voted to block the american people from seeing that. you have to ask yourself, what are they afraid that the american people would see? what the american people would see is new, unseen evidence that rebuts their points and bolsters the fbi s credibility and seriousness of the vision. what do you say to the speaker, palm ryan, insisting this republican memo does not imp kate rosenstein or mueller? what this memo does is it seeks to torch every floor of the fbi build ping to protect the president. that s what it will do.
represents everybody, then it really is incumbent upon him to speak out and speak out soon. i m noting from twitter right now that house speaker palm ryan came o paul ryan came out with a pretty strong treatmenstatement. he twhooeted th etweeted that te language is no the views fueling the situation in charlottes there are repugnant, let it unite americans against this kind of vile bigotry. that is a strong statement. the kind of statement that i think a lot of people would expect a president of the united states to have made in this situation. i was actually during one of the breaks on my message board and a friend of mine pointed out, look, the president has a lot on his plate, but he takes time out to tweet all the time, boris. so why hasn t he no matter how busy he is taken five minutes out on-to-tweet aboto tweet aboe
and, again, the key, as he said, i free with palm ryan, the goal here palm ryan the goal is to make the country better, not just pass legislation. i wish the republicans well. what do you think it feels like to be one of those new people in the room, alex? speaker ryan reached out to them. new members, here with your families, your kids, welcome. i mean it has to be alive with possibility. i would imagine there s a lot of butterflies in the stomach, excitement, maybe trepidation what lays ahead. i think there is a lot of excitement. my former boss who i helped get re-elected to the senate, marco rubio, ron johnson, both sworn in today. they re very excited. for the last six years they have been in the minority, a democratic president who vetoes everything they send to him. now there s an opportunity to get things done in washington, d.c. to move forward and make people s lives betternd the rest
