WEAVERHAM Rose Fete has been cancelled for the second year running due to Covid. Organisers have made the decision with a heavy heart but say that safety of residents must come first. Barbara Eames, chairman of Weaverham Rose Fete, who runs the event with Pam Palsreyman, said: We would like to apologise for the lack of a fete again this year due to Covid restrictions.
The last Weaverham Rose Fete parade in 2019 The children really love it. We re upset that we can t put it on. Hopefully next year we will be able to organise our usual fete.
