Nevada small business grant program buoys more than 9,000 organization across the State
LAS VEGAS, NV â Today, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and Treasurer Zach Conine highlighted the success of the Stateâs largest small business grant program in history, the Pandemic Emergency Technical Support (PETS) grant program.
Launched in October using $20 million in federal Coronavirus relief funds and aimed at providing more flexible grant money to small businesses, the program grew to more than $100 million in total funding, helping roughly 9,400 small businesses across the State.
âWe will distribute the final funds in the coming days, but in total, almost 9,400 small businesses and non-profit organizations were able to receive assistance under this program which helped them make payroll, pay the rent and utilities, and keep their doors open throughout the pandemic,â
