Woodblock scotland from becoming a member of nato, but it will be a drawnout negotiation where things will not be as simple as they are being projected in the campaign. If you want to mention the u. N. Issue that might come up, but the final element that i want to talk about is the currency issue, which has become one of the core issues of the campaign. Issuethe most difficult that is going to face an independent scotland if we vote next yes next week. They have said that ultimately they would b...

That hasnt quite migrated itself into the institutional arena in terms of forces stationed here in the United States as it would relate to defense support to civil authorities. I think thats primarily this is not a primary mission for us. Its something that we do Pay Attention to, of course, as we deploy overseas. Not necessarily forces we have here in the states. We do understand Immediate Response, rolling out the gate to help our neighbors in an immediate nature, but i think not so much in te...

Job is i get to hang out with other people who are really trying to do very innovative things and be very creative. I talk about some of the data sets we use. Most people still dont know they exist despite great efforts from the city and others. And, you know, a lot of entrepreneurs that were looking for is the way to get leverage, a way to build an experience or build a product before we have 100,000 users using it. Open data is the key way to do that. You can start out with this experience, ve...

Health data palooza proceeded by health data jambs or modeling sessions, jams sounded more fun, we can invite entrepreneurs in and see what can be done and created Real Products within a few months. That is being rolled out at education, energy, treasury, u. S. Aid, other agencies as well. These programs are celebrating the use of open data and hopefully will provide some additional support. I think there are even folks here who have been part of these events. Were excited for that continued sup...

Than once talking to, shall we say, countries not keeping to the agreed deal. But on the other hand, i think when there is american pressure, what i have seen, even with the islamic front is that sometimes our friends, when we press our friends, they will in turn squeeze. And the islamic front had been moderating its position starting in may when they issued that statement backing off of demanding an islamic state. So even that can be done, but i do think going forward, this is one where i think...

Of the materials it collected. Thats done by the executive branch. I want all of the 9 11 materials to be on the public record. They should be. I dont see any reason to classify it. Host chris, buffalo, democrat. Go ahead. Caller yes. It seems to me that the last me we actually won a war was the first war in kuwait. We actually paid for that war because george bush sr. Raised taxes and basically got voted out of office. Do you think the republicans hat run the congress now would actually want to...

To be someone there. There have to be people working with it who are getting out there. I think this is what this city is going to be really powerful. In terms of other cities doing as well, chicago is doing some really interesting stuff. Scary cool stuff. Theyre taking 3 in 1 data, pothole request and crime report and matching it up with social media. Theyre getting this really deep and rich picture of what is going on in the city. And you can do that with data when you think about it creativel...

Francisco came in in terms of actually ading the officer. More broadly how do you think San Francisco compares and what are some of the other cities that are doing really well in terms of open data . I should be clear. When San Francisco is third, we have a pact. Ill add to that actually. Whats great in San Francisco is there is not just going to be a chief data officer. There is also the office of civic innovation. Jays team, shannons team. By having both of those units in place i think there i...
