The National Crime Agency have seized a property in the Newtownabbey area valued at £85,000 and £28,000 from a bank account from a man with alleged links to West Belfast UDA.

A 40-YEAR-old man has been charged with drugs offences following searches earlier this year by police investigating the North Down UDA.

A 39-year-old man arrested by the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigating suspected drugs criminality linked to the west Belfast UDA has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The men, aged 41, 55 and 64, were arrested as part of an investigation into the East Belfast UVF.

Drugs and cash were found during searches in east Belfast linked to the UVF on Friday.
