A group behind a proposed charter school that met strong opposition from the Fort Wayne Community Schools elected board and leaders withdrew its application to open a school in the districts boundary.

To provide parents and students a convenient opportunity to learn about summer youth programs in Aurora, the City of Aurora is hosting the ninth Aurora Youth and Family Resource Fair on Thursday, April 21.

This April, the Paramount School of the Arts in Aurora displays a Child Abuse Prevention Month Art Exhibit. It features works by supporters and children who are currently or have been in care of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
