Being open about these experiences will be key to the couples parenting skills, the expert said.
She went on: “I am sure Harry will make a great dad and Meghan a great mum but coming from such different backgrounds they may find their views on parenting may cause conflict. This is something they will have to embrace and work together on to get through the next chapter of their lives.
“I think they will make excellent parents.”

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Early Years Expert and Parenting Coach Sophie Pickles said: Kate s parenting style encourages her children to learn to be independent and self-sufficient - skills of the utmost importance for the future monarch and his siblings.

“She takes a great interest in early childhood education and development and wants to ensure that her children are raised in the way she believes is best.
“The royal sibset know they can come to Kate and William with any problem and this is something that the royal parenting duo are keen to encourage.
“Stepping away from tradition and hiring only one nanny - rather than the usual two or three - will have been a conscious decision by Kate and William to ensure that they play an active parenting role in their children s development.”
Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who is often seen helping out with the children, was trained at one of the most prestigious schools in the UK.
The expert added that the affection Kate and William show towards the royal children in public isn’t typically seen by royals.
Sophie explained: “In the past, this coddling style of parenting would have been firmly against the rules royal parents must abide by.”
Avoiding public displays of affection is largely considered to be an unwritten rule for members of the Royal Family but the Cambridge’s seem to have stepped away from this tradition.
