If you feel like your local neighborhood park is in need of some changes, they could be coming soon. A city grant has been invested into several parks on behalf of improving playground safety and equipment.

The city was awarded $3.4 million from the state to renovate Columbus Park in south Stockton.

Of the $548 million, Vacaville received a grant of $6.7 million for a project located on a 2.68 acre parcel along Brown Street.
