JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The snow might have stopped falling for now, but record-breaking sub-zero temperatures and wind chills Tuesday posed dangerous threats to people throughout Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

“You name it, we’ve got it,” said Meteorologist Bryan McCormick. “Look for dangerous ‘feels like’ temperatures of 10-15 degrees below zero for the first half of Tuesday.”

Dangerously low temperatures continue Sunday as winter storm arrives

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - People in Region 8 woke up to temperatures in the teens and single digits Sunday morning, and wind chills in some places below zero.
The winter weather arrived in the Batesville area around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Sunday morning, Entergy Arkansas reported some power outages across the area. The most customers affected were in Mississippi County.
Sporadic outages were also reported in Crittenden, Fulton and Mississippi counties, Entergy said as of 10:15 p.m. Sunday.
