The government wants to allow shops and supermarkets to sell some drinks with alcohol content up to eight percent, from the current level of 5.5 percent.
The bill aims to support the independent lives of people with disabilities while also providing them with high-quality services, and had been due to come into effect next month.
Markus Lohi (Centre), the chairperson of the Parliament’s Social Affairs and Health Committee, on Wednesday declined to speculate on when the committee could finalise its report on the draft bill.
