The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as Nadine Ziganti. A cause of death has not been released. Parma Fire Department Public Information Officer T.J. Martin says firefighters were called to the 1200 block of Dawnwood Drive at about 6 p.m. When firefighters arrived, light smoke could be seen coming from the home.

PARMA, Ohio One person was injured Thursday night and a firefighter also was taken to the hospital as a fire destroyed an apartment building. Firefighters from Parma, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn and Parma Heights were called at 11:33 p.m. to the Statehouse Manor apartment complex at 6551 State Road. When firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke and fire coming from a unit on the third floor, according to a news release from the Parma Fire Department.
