SOMERSET artists have been tasked with brightening up Sedgemoor s buses - and they are looking for the public to get involved, too. Between them, Karl Bevis, Fiona Campbell, Jem Dick and Sharon Jacksties have taken on three projects, which will produce artworks co-created with Buses of Somerset passengers and staff, and other members of the local community. The finished works - covering multiple art forms, from poetry to photography and collage - will be displayed on 30 buses travelling around Sedgemoor. In engaging members of the public to help with this community project, Art First, the artists will guide participants through the process, giving them tips on finding inspiration in everyday life and how that can be turned into artwork.
