They say the owners of the Food Distribution center here hear a knock on the door at 2 15 a. M. They come to the door and answer. Two men outside saying theyre police. They have hats on that say police and a badge around their neck. They open the door and men barge in with guns and chief inspector scott small picks up the story from there. Put guns to both of their heads. Owners were male and female. Threatened to shoot them if they did not cooperate. While one of the perpetrators was holding gunpoint to both of the owners on the ground, the other one went inside and took two bags of cash. Reporter investigators say they made off with about 100,000. The two men fled in a dark colored suv. They believe a mid 2000 chevy trailblazer. 95 is here. Tell us more about what happened. Ive been talking to people who are here at the scene who say theyre friends of the victims. Im learning more information about the two people inside this vehicle as we push in to whats a mangled mess of metal. There was a vehicle, an Acura Integra im told. A totally separate part of the vehicle is across the lawn. A few minutes before 1 00 a. M. , this vehicle was traveling on broad street near cowpath road when it lost control. They dont know why at this point the driver lost control. It slammed in a kbru tilt pole and really break into multiple parts. One of the peoplen id so the vehicle was air lifted to Jefferson University hospital with critical injuries. The other was pronounced dead from here at the scene. Friends of the victims say the two people were in their early 20s, they were friends, grew up together. Township police, Lansdale Police, Montgomery County coroner, Montgomery County detectives and volunteer firefighters all out here. The fire
