2021-05-27 14:05:21 GMT2021-05-27 22:05:21(Beijing Time) Xinhua English KIEV, May 27 (Xinhua) A two-day training session of the Passing Exercise (PASSEX) joint ship-and-boat tactical group of the Ukrainian and British navies took place in the northwestern waters of the Black Sea, the press service of Ukraine s Ministry of Defense reported Thursday. During the naval drills, a group of ships and motorboats practiced maneuvering in lines and orders, along with air defense drills, repelling attacks from the high-speed, small-sized floating craft of a simulated enemy. The constant participation of the Ukrainian navy in PASSEX-type training provides an opportunity to improve skills, maritime training, exchange of experience and master NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) standards, said Rear Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
