Hall this noon with a look at a city in crisis. John . John the city is slowly trying to get back to normal this afternoon. We can show you city hall here downtown. Definitely an eerie scene even though no violence, no unrest today. But you can see all of the military presence. City hall still looking like a military base at this hour. You can still see a number of National Guardsmen standing guard armed with high powered rifles and humvees lined up and they have the fencing, the metal fencing surrounding city hall. And choppers flying up above. Some 3,000 National Guardsmen and police from different jurisdictions have been spread out across the city for the past couple of days. And about 30 d. C. Police officers have been called up to assist here at city hall.
