WILMINGTON, MA Eleven candidates returned papers to run in the Wilmington town election by the Friday deadline, the town clerk said.
Wilmington voters will have two contested School Committee races on the ballot, April 24.
For two full School Committee terms, the two incumbents face a challenger, whereas four residents threw their hats in the ring for the final two years of Steve Bjork s seat. But other races are uncontested, with only one candidate returning papers for the open Board of Selectmen seat and other races.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA There s still time left to take out nomination papers for the April 27 Swampscott town election.
There s just not much of it.
The last day to obtain nomination papers is Friday with the deadline to return nomination papers, submit town meeting member notices and re-election forms on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

TEWKSBURY, MA Fourteen candidates returned nominating papers to run for office in the annual town election, only four of them incumbents, the town clerk s office said Friday.
Friday was the deadline to to run in the April 10 election. Fifty valid resident signatures were required for each candidacy.
No candidates took out papers for two seats on the Board of Library Trustees. Incumbent Selectman Brian Dick and School Committee Member Scott Wilson are not running for re-election.

SUDBURY, MA The filing period for the 2021 Sudbury town election closed on Feb. 8, which means the slate of candidates running in the March 29 election has been finalized.
The 2021 election features three competitive races: Sudbury Select Board, the Sudbury School Committee and the Goodnow Library Board of Trustees.
Sudbury School Committee member Lisa Kouchakdjian is vying for one of two seats up for election on the Select Board. But Kouchakdjian is up against incumbents Dan Carty and Janie Dretler, who are both running to keep their seats.
