Folsom s Harris Center, a popular venue for
live entertainment in our region, is planning for a soft re-opening around
October 1, even as other local venues rush to fill the void left by the pandemic. The pause will allow the center to
restructure its management model, a task anticipated before COVID. It will also allow the center to r
aise needed funds for the reopening. A
live outdoor concert, which will serve as a
fundraiser, featuring singer
John Wedemeyer, is set to take place in the
Harris Center parking lot on
August 21. (SacBee)
