Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino played host to a stakes filled card on Monday, May 29 for a special Memorial Day card of live racing.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will host a special live harness racing card on Monday, May 29 in celebration of the Memorial Day holiday. An action packed 14-race card has been assembled and will feature the opening round of Indiana Sires Stakes action for the three-year-old competitors.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced a change in first post on Saturdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning this weekend on Saturday, April 8. Post time will remain at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Two of the richest and most prominent two-year-old Grand Circuit events, the Peter Haughton Memorial Trot for colts and geldings and the Jim Doherty Memorial for trotting fillies, will take place at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino for the first time in 2023 and received strong support from owners and trainers after the Feb. 15 nomination deadline.
