FARMINGTON, CT People’s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of People’s United Bank, announced Monday that the local Red Cross branch is part of an award package totaling $989,589 f0r the first grant cycle of 2021. In all, to 150 non-profits are receiving grants, including the American Red Cross branch in Farmington. The awards are being distributed throughout the People s United footprint, covering Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
