In this edition of Microsoft Weekly, we talk about Microsoft switching up its Windows release cadence (again), all the updates from Patch Tuesday, and a relatively significant Dev Channel build.

Microsoft has issued a caution that it will be removing mitigations put in place against printing and scanning issues when using Smart Cards. The issues had begun after the July 2021 Patch Tuesday.

Microsoft released Windows 11 Patch Tuesday update KB5015814 as scheduled. However, the security update is interrupting the Start Menu operation by causing random app crashes for some users.
