The University of Montana’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research is always asking questions and looking for answers to the economic conditions in our state.

In 2020, Montana State Parks saw record visitation, with 3.4 million people, a tally that fell just 1.3 percent the following year.

Visitors are heading to Montana despite floods and high gas prices, and at least for the time being, economic security is strong.
