It’s hard to imagine an American president visiting the Emerald Isle and not tracing their roots. It is amazing how people in the US many claim to have a drop of ‘Irish’ in their blood.

US President Joe Biden has spoken openly and proudly about his Irish roots for many years, but is the surname Biden actually Irish? Research suggests that it is not. 

At the weekend, Biden remarked that the Russian President “cannot remain in power”.

The Democrat made the statement during an event called Friends of Ireland, which is hosted every year at the White House on St Patricks Day, a cultural and religious holiday celebrated both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
