State capture and corruption accused Carlos Bonifacio, chief accountant of the now-defunct former government service provider Bosasa, has had all criminal charges against him withdrawn by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

Fugitives Rajesh and Atul Gupta were arrested four months after Interpol issued a Red Notice against them. But they are just the latest.

The North Gauteng High Court of South Africa in Pretoria has deferred the R1.8bn BOSASA and Department of Correctional Services (DCS) fraud and corruption matter to 22 July 2022.



The pulmonologist appointed by the state to assess former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi’s health started work on May 19 and the assessment will be presented on July 12 when Agrizzi’s corruption case resumes in Johannesburg.
