Officials with Brightline announced Wednesday the launch of ticket sales for the Orlando connection, marking anther milestone in the launch of the service between Central Florida and South Florida.

Tickets can be purchased for travel starting in late summer through early 2024. 

Brightline tickets for the trains South Florida to Orlando route officially went on sale Wednesday with an initial purchase date of Friday, Sept. 1.

Brightline Announces Ticket Sales For South Florida to Orlando Route

Brightline, the first new intercity passenger rail operator in the U.S. in decades, has started selling tickets for its long-awaited extension to Orlando.

The Treasure Coast has had a tense relationship with Brightline for years. Now those speedy trains finally will run through local communities.

Starting today, Brightline riders can start booking train rides from South Florida to Orlando from September through the end of the year. But the date for the inaugural Brightline journey on the new Orlando extension has yet to be scheduled.
