NORFOLK, Va. — Jeremy Brodeur stopped 27 shots and the Adirondack Thunder scored three goals in the first period to sweep the Norfolk Admirals on Sunday afternoon, 3-1, from Scope Arena. The Railers will face off against the Adirondack Thunder on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Railers are back at the DCU Center on Wednesday to take on the Trois-Rivieres Lions at 7:05 p.m.

Friday night’s defeat cut the Railers’ lead over the Thunder to five points in the North Division playoff race.

After a somewhat uneventful two years with the Huskies, center Artem Shlaine has seemingly found his game since transferring to the Northern Michigan Wildcats this year. This posts spotlights Shlaine and updates on the other Devils prospects playing in the NCAA.

We were joined earlier this afternoon by Patrick Grasso of the Adirondack Thunder. He is their leading goal scorer and is very talented.
