The longest running play in NYC history, PERFECT CRIME will celebrate its 36th Anniversary on Monday, April 18th in the Anne Bernstein Theater at The Theater Center Theater Center.
The show begins its 35th year of performances with numerous safety upgrades, precautions, and policies in place:
Everyone who works in the building (actors, stage managers, dressers, technicians, treasurers, house managers, and ushers) will be fully vaccinated.
Everyone entering The Theater Center must wear masks and follow social distancing protocols. The Theater Center has worked with Ticketmaster to create contactless ticketing service as well as contact tracing.

Perfect Crime tells of Margaret Thorne Brent who believes she’s committed the ultimate murder. Caught in a game of cat and mouse with her investigator, it takes a great deal for Brent to wash her hands of potential guilt. Written by Warren Manzi, Perfect Crime is the only play to have been staged off-Broadway over the last five decades.
Catherine Russell stars in
Perfect Crime, who has appeared in the show since its 1980s inception. The show also features Patrick Ryan Sullivan, David Butler, Charles Geyer, and Patrick Robustelli. It is a show that s full of surprises as each clue is unravelled. It is well acted and performed in a very small stage resulting in a cosy atmosphere.
