While leaders of the two drug organizations are linked by a marriage, federal prosecutors say they appear to have worked independent of each other.

Ricardo Carrion, 42, otherwise known as 'PR,' was sentenced to 19 years and four months in federal prison for his leadership role in a drug trafficking organization that distributed thousands of doses of narcotics, including heroin stamped with the label 'funeral' to advertise its potency.
