Motorist accused of striking a pedestrian and three parked vehicles during crash on Beatty Avenue

A Cambridge woman struck by a sport-utility vehicle while walking on a sidewalk along to Beatty Avenue Thursday morning was admitted to Southeastern Med for treatment.
Sonja Ann Mikes, 30, was transported to the Cambridge hospital by United Ambulance with suspected serious injuries, according to a city police report.
She was reportedly in stable condition later in the day.
The vehicle that struck Mikes was one of four involved in the accident just after 8 a.m.
The driver of the 2017 Ford Edge that struck Mikes, identified by police as Jane A. McBride, 64, of Byesville, was not injured.
