Being here i will become a historic day. Im incredibly excited today and the next senator and the great state of georgia. This is the bittersweet moment for meal millions hardworking georgians, myself included. Our senior senator Johnny Isaacson is the Public Servant through and through. A statesman, you can trust to act with dignity and respect, a friend and a mentor to many of us to stay on beside me here today. I am literally from all walks of life, and from both sides of the aisle. Oh man of character. Phil always put policy ahead of politics. Senator isaacson worked diligently in washington, to champion our veterans and get these american heroes that care and the support that they need. It has stood with our farmers, and are gripped Business Leaders and tough harvest, cover crops and hurricanes. Johnny has certainly done his part to keep georgia growing. And on the gold dome, he has fought for policy this disparate Economic Growth and opportunity and prosperity in every corner of

As i mentioned, over two hundred thousand people could be here on a day during world war ii. The station had to be closed because it was full. Some of the benches needed to be removed then. It was still a primarily the largest waiting room certainly, in the city and the crossroads of the world, it was once dubbed by the press. Interesting to go through this building, particularly world war ii and the changes that were made. For example, the announcers voice was changed to a female voice, under the theory that a female voice would be sweeter and softer and more appropriate during wartime. We have a quote from one of the porters who says that he was bribed frequently or attempted to bribe frequently to put people in a wheelchair so he could take them to the head of the line. The lines were so long, he extended quite a way through the building. Watch the entire tour of Union Station at 6 p. M. And 10 p. M. Eastern sunday on american artifacts. This is american cspan3. We have a great panel today i will let you talk about that we have Great Questions from you we will talk about what happened in Midterm Elections two days ago. I still cannot believe all that happened in this election. I think the most important take away is that i was right about the senate in that is where we should really marinate. That is the key art. [laughter] no, the amount of information that was revealed about the electorate was extremely high. We know a lot more than we did before and we could not have better people to talk about it with. We are extraordinarily lucky today. If you do not know him already, this is a leading leader in washington dc. Political consultant for more than 30 years with experience in survey research and political campaigns. He is the author of 2015 and beyond and decades of polling trends in the way in which new towns can help republicans win the presidency in america. We appreciate him wearing a very republican necktie today so you can tell. He has
Brad raffensperger announcing the december 6 runoff. Secretary raffensperger good afternoon. We thought about doing that at 7 00 this morning but we figured you would like more than two hours of sleep. We wanted to give you an update. We had a Beautiful Day in georgia yesterday and it is a Beautiful Day again. It was a very successful election day. We saw georgians from all over the state cast their ballot to make their voices heard. It is still a wonderful thing. This is democracy. This republic. I stand in all of what we saw and what our forefathers built in this nation. Something so unique in human history. It is truly divinely inspired. That said, it takes people, lots of people, very hardworking people to make it happen. I want to give credit, first come into our Elections Team in my office. They are led by our director blake evans. Deputy director dr. Jesse harris and michael barnes, our director of the center for elections. Their team has done amazing work. They work with the gr
