South Burlington is currently governed by a city manager and council chair form of government, with five councilors elected at-large to represent the city’s population and the city manager appointed by the council.
In addition to voting on the school and city budgets, residents will decide whether to bond for up to $14.5 million for school capital improvements, $15 million in tax increment financing to continue developing the City Center and $33 million to make upgrades to a wastewater treatment facility.
