Police investigate fatal semi-truck incident in Downtown Cheyenne By John Roedel on August 2, 2021 File; Trevor T. Trujillo, Oil City News CHEYENNE, Wyo. Officials with the Cheyenne Police Department say that on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to an incident near the 1500 block of House Avenue where a man had been runover by a semi-truck. According to Alexandra Farkas, Public Information Officer for the CPD, the preliminary investigation shows the man may have fallen asleep after crawling underneath the trailer of a parked semi-truck. “When the driver of the truck returned and started the vehicle, the man underneath was run over by the rear wheels of the trailer as the truck pulled forward, Farkas stated.

Archuleta, 35, of East 14th Street for the misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, refusing to obey, individual possessing an open container or consuming alcohol, public intoxication and refusing identification to a police officer at 11 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Livingston Avenue. Paul Griego, 54, transient, for misdemeanor public intoxication at 9:20 a.m. Sunday in the 4600 block of Hilltop Avenue. Christopher Turner, 27, of West 24th Street for felony aggravated assault on a peace officer at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Misty L. Stricker, 42, transient, for misdemeanor criminal entry at 10:36 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of West Lincolnway.
