HORNELL Lee Zeldin, the presumptive Republican nominee set to challenge Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the 2022 gubernatorial race, visited Hornell over the weekend to tour the Maple City, meet local voters and add a few more endorsements to his candidacy.
Rep. Zeldin represents New York’s 1st District in Congress. After picking up the endorsements of the Steuben County and Allegany County GOP committees, Zeldin has now secured the support of nearly every county in the state in his bid to lock up the Republican nomination for the 2022 campaign.
