North Carolina educators sound-off on indoctrination commission
While supporters lauded the decision, a vocal contingent said the move would sow division in the classroom.
During a recent press conference, Robinson said concerns over the change in standards convinced him to create the F.A.C.T.S. Commission. Described by Robinson as a non-partisan group of individuals, the F.A.C.T.S. Commission s job is to compile instances of classroom indoctrination reported by the public, students or teachers. The purpose of these reports has been confirmed, although Robinson did say that they could be the basis for new legislation.
