NEW DELHI: Indian NSA Ajit Doval and his Pakistan counterpart Moeed Yusuf participated on Wednesday in the meeting of SCO national security advisers in Dushanbe a day after India strongly criticised Islamabad for protecting and nurturing terrorists.
The SCO meeting saw discussions on the political and military situation in Afghanistan with participants underlining the role of UN in peace efforts and the need for settlement through an inclusive political dialogue. The meeting condemned terrorism in all forms, called for shunning double standards in dealing with terrorists and also reached an agreement to facilitate exchange of information on terrorists.
The SCO meeting took place soon after India again slammed Islamabad on the issue of cross-border terrorism saying that Pakistan, as its state policy, continued to provide pensions to dreaded and listed terrorists and to host them on its territory.
