Barrell Armida is a new blended bourbon that boasts a rather intriguing triple cask finish of Pear Brandy, Jamaican Rum, and Sicilian Amaro casks.

The new Barrell Craft Spirits Private Release Whiskey Series is this independent American whiskey bottler's biggest project to date, a range of two dozen older Kentucky whiskey blends that are each finished in a secondary barrel or cask.

Rum finishes add a wonderful funk and sweetness to American bourbons, ryes, and single malts. Here are the bottles worth checking out.
