Earlier today, parents and the Cedar Rapids Police department was called after they responded to a call before 8 student suffering from a gunshot wound behind the schools auditorium. The student was a 15yearold boy. Were working on obtaining his name but Police Confirmed the gunshot wound was self inflicted. The student was taken to the hospital and the school was placed on lockdown.
