The Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership is helping to get Pennsylvania on track for its 2025 Chesapeake Bay pollution reduction goals. The department wants applicants to focus on innovative forestry projects to take on the effects of climate change, such as improving air quality and providing shade. .
Federal funds have been awarded to New York applicants transitioning to electric school buses. The $69 million grant is part of the Environmental Protection Agency s Clean School Bus Program Grants Competition. This money will be split between the Evans-Brant Central School District in Western New York, and two New York City school bus services. .
