Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the officials to begin construction work in the ‘YSR Jagananna Colonies’ on June 1, and build a model house in every layout.
In a review meeting on ‘Navaratnalu - Pedalandariki Illu’ programme on Wednesday, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said construction of houses and creation of infrastructure in the colonies required 7.50 lakh tonnes of steel.

In a letter, he lists the schemes initiated for their welfare
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has written letters to the families that benefited from various welfare schemes and are residing in the areas forming part of the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency, appealing to them to vote for M. Gurumurthy, the YSRCP candidate in the byelection, in appreciation of the government’s performance in the last 22 months.
The letters contained a list of all the welfare schemes / initiatives the families have benefited from since the YSRCP came to power.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Tuesday that Andhra Pradesh has created a record in the national employment guarantee scheme by providing 2,427 lakh workdays by March 15 and paying nearly Rs 6,000 crore to the workforce under the scheme.
The Chief Minister announced that construction of houses under the mega housing scheme Pedalandariki Illu would start on April 15. As many as 15.60 lakh houses would be constructed in the first phase of the housing scheme for the poor. The CM was holding a Spandana review meeting with district collectors and SPs.

‘Beneficiaries should be identified through social audit’
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday asked the officials to expedite distribution of house site pattas as part of the ‘Pedalandariki Illu’ scheme.
During the review meeting at his camp office on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said the distribution of title deeds of the houses would be a continuous process and reiterated that all eligible applications should be cleared within 90 days.
