Two men were arrested after allegedly breaking into the North Star Mall and damaging a dozen stores inside.
San Antonio police were called to the mall, located at 7400 San Pedro Avenue, just before 3:30 a.m. after mall security noticed some broken windows. Officers happened to be nearby and were able to catch the a juvenile and adult male in the act.
Both males were charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

The San Antonio City Council approved an agreement Thursday with the Texas Department of Transportation to fund upgrades for seven traffic signals at key intersections around the city. (KSAT)
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio City Council approved an agreement Thursday with the Texas Department of Transportation to fund upgrades for seven traffic signals at key intersections around the city.
The upgrades are part of the federal Highway Safety Improvement Program, which aims to reduce the both the amount and severity of vehicle crashes.
