MARION Take a walk or two or three with the Sippican Lands Trust this month, as they host multiple walking events throughout February.
Join the lands trust for another Story Walk this winter. Through Feb. 28, SLT will be hosting a story walk of “Tracks in the Snow” by Wong Herbert Yee at Hagemann Woods off of Point Road. Tracks in the Snow is the story of a little girl who follows tracks outside her window after a fresh snowfall. Visit Hagemann Woods and read along to find out what happens.
SLT is also hosting a “LoveBird Walk” at 10 a.m. on Valentine s Day this year at Planting Island Causeway. The group will be searching for pairs of ducks and waterfowl along the causeway and within the cove. Space is limited, so email info@sippicanlandstrust.org to save a spot.
