Lorraine Goffe, vice president for human resources and chief human resources officer, has announced her departure from the University, effective Jan. 31, 2022. She will assume a new role as vice president for human resources and chief human resource officer at Northwestern University in February. Jennifer Wilkes, current assistant vice president for administration in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses, has been named interim vice president for human resources.

Penn State President Eric J. Barron and First Lady Molly Barron have given $525,000 to establish the Eric and Molly Barron Student Food Security Endowment. The fund will provide support to purchase University meal plans for undergraduate Penn State students who encounter food insecurity, a key priority of the Barron administration.
Penn State has been ranked as the No. 21 school for undergraduate entrepreneurship studies in the United States by The Princeton Review in its annual ratings of the top schools for entrepreneurship studies. Among schools in the Northeast, Penn State came in at No. 5.
