Pennsylvania State Police responded to a residence on Battlecreek Road in Rome Township on Wednesday, Jan. 24 with an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Sebastian Shults.
Albrightsville man arrested after armed standoff with police
An Albrightsville man is accused of threatening to shoot law enforcement officers during an hours-long standoff Tuesday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Fern Ridge troopers arrived at a Chestnuthill home around 11 p.m. to arrest Thomas E. Kram, 40, for drug-related felony charges. There, they found the front door open and an armed man inside.
“Get out of here,” officials said Kram shouted from inside. “I have a gun and will shoot you.”
According to police, Kram said he had several guns and would kill anyone who tried to enter. Court records indicate the warrant for his arrest stemmed from a March 16 incident in which Kram is accused of using illegal drugs and driving under the influence.
