NPS investors can now choose up to 3 pension fund managers for different asset classes: PFRDA

The pension fund regulator has issued a circular announcing that an NPS investor can now choose different pension fund managers for different asset classes. NPS allows an individual to invest in equities, corporate bonds, government securities and alternate asset classes. Previously, an NPS subscriber was allowed to choose only one pension fund manager.

WhatsApp, which counts India as its biggest market with 400 million users, is working in partnership with financial institutions on pilots of micro-insurance, and micro pension products. It is partnering with the SBI General Insurance to provide consumers with health insurance products.
