November is here and it brought some cold weather with it! If you are looking for a warm indoor space to participate in fun classes and activities, we’ve got you covered. Once again, the Community Learning Center has a busy schedule with a new class, Smart Trust, along with some of our regularly scheduled activities. There also a few immediate community activities that you don’t want to miss.

Christmas Program Practice — It’s back! The Community Learning Center will be presenting a Christmas program in December. Come join them on Monday evenings, 6-7:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 16 and be a part of the tradition. Family, friends and staff are welcome to participate.

On Sept. 15, SB40 will be collaborating with Tidal Wave Auto Spa for their Annual Charity Day from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. One hundred percent of proceeds from sales on that date will go to non-profit organizations. This year, Tidal Wave Auto Spa has invited Adair County SB40 to receive 50 percent of the day’s proceeds. As always, there is a lot to do at the Adair County SB40 Community Learning Center (CLC) in August including a special Saturday event on Aug. 19. Join a few incoming Truman State University freshman at the CLC for yard ga.m.es and a carry-in lunch. The CLC will be providing hotdogs and drinks. Call (660-665-9400) to let them know if you plan to come and sign up for a side or dessert to bring by Wednesday, Aug. 16.
